Zora Parsons Nance

Mrs. Zora Parsons Nance, 75 of Huntersville, NC died Monday, August 20, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born July 4, 1937 in Wilbar, NC she was a daughter of the late Ernest Columbus Parsons and Clesia Jane Ashley Parsons. Mrs. Nance graduated from Richardson Beauty College, Charlotte, NC. She was a cosmetologist, owned and operated Zora's Beauty Shop for over 25 years. Her passions were spending time with family and friends. She was also a wonderful cook. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 24 in the Chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Charlotte Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 51 years, James Roy Nance; beloved daughter, Renee Nance Jones and husband William (Bill); precious granddaughter, Heather Renee Jones who will be attending medical school fall of next year; sister, Louise Parsons Gillispie, Princess Anne, MD; brothers, Clifford C. Parsons of Charlotte, NC and David C. Parsons of Statesville, NC; several dear nieces and nephews.
