Willie Eva Jordan

Willie Eva Frame Jordan peacefully left her earthly home at Wesley Woods Alzheimers Care Center on July 13, 2011 to live in paradise with her Lord, Jesus Christ. Willie was born on May 17, 1914 in Mecklenburg County, NC to William Robert Frame and Martha Jane Yost Frame. She was second of eight children. She was born on their farm where she helped her mother care for her brothers and sisters. She attended Huntersville Independent School District where she completed High School. On January 8, 1934 she was married to Charles Wesley Jordan in SC. They resided in Huntersville, NC for the majority of their 58 years of marriage; where she worked at a variety of cotton mills in and around the area. She devoted time daily to reading her bible, a wonderful cook, beautiful friend, and made everyone feel loved. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Charles Wesley Jordan, sons; Allen, Chuck, and Clifford Jordan, daughter; Joyce Norris, brothers; Robert and Ralph Frame, sisters; Mary Frame, Elizabeth Smith and Martha Huey. Survivors include son, George Jordan and wife Gusta of CO, daughters; Dorcas Simpson and husband, George of TX, Carol Clanton and husband John of Mooresville; 15 grandchildren, 20 great- grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren,brother David Frame and wife Elizabeth, sister Ruth Ferrell. Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 am Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Christ Community Church with the Rev Allen Higgins officiating. The family will receive friends from 10- 11 prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Nortlake Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Willie F.
