William G Weise

William Weise, 72, passed away on June 23, 2011 at home. He was born on May 27,1939 in Rome, NY, son of late George and Margaret Weise. Bill was in the Army Reserves from 1958 to 1964. On December 9, 1959 he married his wife Linda. Bill was employed at Special Metals in New Hartford, NY retiring after 32 years. Bill is survived by his wife of 52 years, his two sons Keith and his wife Kim of Huntersville, NC, Dwayne and his wife Leslie of Huntersville, NC and two Grandsons Dylan and Nolan of Huntersville, NC. He also leaves three brothers, three sisters, brother-in-law and father-in-law, nine nephews and six nieces all who live out of state. He is predeceased by his parents, sister-in-law Sue, brother-in-law Vinnie and two nephews Kirk and Christopher. Bill will be missed by his companion his dog, Chanel. Bill deeply loved his two sons Keith and Dwayne and was so proud of their accomplishments. His love for his wife will never end and he will continue in spirit to say those three little words "I Love You". He truly loved his two daughter-in-laws Leslie and Kim. Bill was a caring, loving and dedicated Grandfather. His grandsons Dylan and Nolan were his pride and joy. He was their babysitter and chauffeur along with his wife Linda during all their younger years. He always attended their baseball games sitting behind home plate, had a front row seat at their basketball games and swimming races, always cheering them on. He never missed a birthday, Christmas, Easter, a school play, music recitals, communions and graduations. He loved taking them to restaurants and shopping. He was so proud of them and his love of them will never die. Dyland and Nolan will always have wonderful memories of their great times they spent together with their grandfather. Bill would want to say to his Grandsons thank you for letting me be your Grandpa and to his sons thank you for letting me be your dad, it was an honor and a privilege and I had a great ride. I love you all. As we gaze up at the sky on a clear night a new star now twinkles brightly. It is God's way of saying your Grandpa and Dad is now watching over all of you and he is now your Guardian Angel's helpers forever keeping you safe. Per Bill's wishes he was cremated and his ashes scattered over a special place in NC. Donations in his name may be made to Hospice or Charity of your choice.
