William James Staz

William James Staz, 72, of Huntersville, NC passed away May 6, 2015. William was born September 10, 1942 in Harrisburg, PA to the late Charles and Catherine Cveck Staz. William volunteered at Huntersville United Methodist Church. He enjoyed boating, gardening and playing soccer in the back yard with his granddaughter. He also loved going to his grandson's baseball games. William is survived by his loving family; wife, Nancy Lee Foultz Staz; sons, Timothy Jay Staz (Wendy) of Olin, NC, James William Staz (Tina) of Huntersville, NC; grandchildren, Mason J. Staz, Ty L. Staz, Avery J. Staz; sister, Mary Lou Wright of Simpsonville, SC; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday May 15, 2015 from 6:00 pm until the time of service at 7:00 pm at Huntersville United Methodist Church. In leiu of flowers, memorial contributions may be to Huntersville United Methodist Church, 14005 Stumptown Road, Huntersville, NC 28078. Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home is assisting the family.
