William Sorvillo

William Sorvillo, 81, of Charlotte, NC passed away peacefully on April 4, 2019.  William was born July 31, 1937 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Carmine and Anna Viscardo Sorvillo.  He was a catholic by faith, a member of the Knights of Columbus in Lindenhurst, NY and worked for 35 years as a typesetter for Typo Graphical  Communications.

William is survived by his loving family; wife of 60 years, Camille Sala Sorvillo; sons, William C. Sorvillo and his wife Helene of Huntersville, NC, Thomas Sorvillo and his wife Rosemarie, of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Dyanna, Andrea, James, William, Marissa and Mary; brother, Michael Sorvillo; sisters, Grace D’Amico, Fannie Francisco and Gloria Parinello.  Along with his parents, William was preceded in death by his sister Anne and brothers Frank, Joseph, Victory Day, Carmine and John.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 7, 2019 from 2:00 -4:00 pm and 6:00 – 9:00pm at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, 16901 Old Statesville Road, Huntersville, NC.  Funeral services will he held on Monday, April 8, 2019 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home.  Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
