William Julius Shearer

William Julius Shearer, 93, of Huntersville, NC passed away Thursday, June 14, 2012 at the Forsyth Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC. "Mr. Bill" was born October 24, 1918 in Anderson, SC to the late Columbus Wardlaw Shearer and Anita Lee Mayfield Shearer. After being honorably discharged from the Army Air Corp in 1945 he enjoyed a career in pipe fitting and being a service manager in the wheel and rim industry. "Mr. Bill" is survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Eunice King Spencer Shearer. A graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn West, 4601 Freedom Dr., Charlotte, NC on Monday, June 18, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Levine Children's Hospital 1000 Blythe Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28203.
