William John Remington

William John Remington, 90, of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away on March 4, 2021.

Bill was born in Salamanca, New York on July 30, 1930 to the late William Cyrus Remington and Margaret Elizabeth Meek.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Argentieri Remington, and son-in-law, William Worthington.

He is survived by two daughters, Natalie Worthington and Marlene (Marty) Kelly; four grandchildren, David (Gabi) Kelly, Gloria (Jeff) Ruff, Timothy Kelly, and Melissa (Jacob) Lane; as well as six great-grandchildren, Ryland, Grayor, Graham, and Hallie Ruff, and Alexa and Ryan Lane.

Bill was an active member of St. Mark Catholic Church and enjoyed volunteering with Hospice for the past 10 years.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, March 12, 2021 at St. Mark Catholic Church in Huntersville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Charlotte Region, 7845 Little Ave., Charlotte, NC 28226.
