William Rodney Marcus

Mr. William Rodney Marcus, 47 of Davidson, NC died Monday September 3, 2012 at his residence. Born November 12, 1964 in Iredell County he was the son of Angela Deloris Kerley Holden and the late William Marcus, Jr. He was employed in the Tree Service Industry, loved fishing, camping and NASCAR racing. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday September 6 in the Chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home with Rev. Walter Burgess officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery West. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 to 1:00 at the funeral home. Survivors including his Mother, Deloris, are his wife, Lori Walton Marcus; son, Logan Marcus; sister, Angela Marcus Jordan; Step- brothers, Dan Holden, David King; step-sisters, Sandra Wright, Becky Alexander, Dana Holden; nephews, John, Matt & BJ and great niece, Dezzie. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Lacy Carol Marcus; step-father, Ernest Holden; maternal grandparents, Lloyd & Jessie Kerley, Paternal Grandmother, Juanita Marcus. A special thank you is extended to Dr. Mitchell, Dr.Wolff , his nurse, Cheryl and all the staff for their wonderful care of Mr. Marcus during his declining health.
