William Jeffrey Keim was born on February 11, 1955 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Jeff married the love of his life, Jane, on September 19, 1981 and together they welcomed two daughters, Katie Hicks (37) and Erin Scoles (36) into the world.
Jeff was an avid lover of sports, his two favorite teams being the Penn State Nittany Lions and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Jeff passed his love of sports onto his girls. Throughout his daughter's childhoods Jeff was always their #1 fan. Whether it was driving them to swim practice at 5am on a winter morning or standing on the side of the lacrosse field on a spring day he was always there cheering for them. More than his love for sports was his love for his family. Always putting his wife, Jane, as top priority; making sure her gas tank was full or giving her a foot massage after a long day at work he wanted more than anything for her to be happy. Even in their most trying times he'd said to her "If you are ok then I am ok and we can get through anything."
Jeff loved his daughters unconditionally. He was lucky enough to walk them both down the aisle on their wedding day, giving them away to his sons-in-law, Travis Scoles and Bob Hicks. He was fond of his sons-in-law and was excited to have some more men in the family. His love for his daughters continued to the next generation as he was there to witness the arrival of his three beautiful granddaughters, Georgia, Charlotte, and Maggie Jane. His greatest titles in his life were, Husband, Dad and Grampy. He left us too soon and will be missed dearly. Jeff was a big supporter of cleaning and protecting ocean wildlife and Alzheimer's research.
