William Patrick Egan

May 21, 1935 — September 18, 2020

The death has occurred of William (Bill) Egan of Huntersville, North Carolina and formerly of Stuart, Florida, and New York.

Bill passed away peacefully surrounded by members of his family on the morning of Friday, 18th September in Olde Knox Commons nursing home.

He bore his long illness with dignity, strength and good humour and will be remembered fondly for his many good qualities and his long and diligent service to his country as a member of the United States Navy.

Bill will be sadly missed by his sons Charlie (New York) and Billy (North Carolina), his daughters Jacqui (Claremorris) and Margaret (New Jersey), the mother of his children Patricia (Claremorris), son-in-law Ronnie, daughters-in-law Deirdre and Lou, his 14 grandchildren, family and many friends.

A memorial service will take place Saturday, September 19th at the Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home (http://www.raymerfh.com) from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Burial will take place at a later date at Calverton military cemetery, Long Island, New York.
