Wendl William Ormsby

Wendl W. Ormsby, 40, of Huntersville, NC passed away on September 27, 2021.

Wendl (Will) was born in Rancho Cucamonga, CA on February 5, 1981 to Diane Dieckmeyer and Wendl Ormsby.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Paula Weiford.

Will is survived by his mother, Diane; father, Wendl; sisters, Carly and Krystal; and daughter, Katalina Bella. He was adored by his many nieces and nephews, Nicolas, Haley, Zachary, Amanda, Megan, Ashley, Justin, Kali and great-nephew, Benjamin.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 11:00 am-12:00 pm at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, Huntersville.  A memorial service will follow at 12:00 in the funeral home chapel.

A reception will be hosted at the Stermon residence following the memorial service.  Details regarding the reception will be shared at the service.  

Wendl will be remembered as a fun-loving man that enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved to cook and contemplated attending culinary school. He had a smile that would light up the room and witty humor to make everyone laugh.  Wendl loved music and movies, he could quote them line by line and quite often impersonate actors. He loved to laugh and make people smile. He was smart, strong and funny.
