Walter "Walt" Andrew Chantlos

Walter Andrew Chantlos "Walt", 53, of Davidson, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Novant Presbyterian Hospital, Charlotte. He was born on November 4, 1968, in Onondaga, New York, the son of Robert Chantlos and Annelise Oertel Chantlos. Walt loved music, traveling, billiards, and poker. He was the life of the party and never met a stranger. He was optimistic, vivacious, captivating, kind, and magnetic. He lit up the room and made a lasting impression on everyone he met. Above all, Walt was passionate about his family, friends, and career. 

In addition to his mother and father, Walt is survived by his wife of 32 years, Kelly Denise Chantlos; daughter & son-in-law, Brooke and Justin Maher; daughter, Kirstyn Chantlos; siblings, Doug Chantlos, Vickie Chantlos, Jackie Gingras; aunt & uncle, Peggy and Earl Chantlos; a grandchild on the way, Finn Maher; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022, 11:00 A.M. at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home of Huntersville.
