Walter Ernest Klaas, Jr., 78, of Concord, NC passed away May 21, 2018 at Novant Medical Center, Huntersville, NC. Walter was born April 29, 1940 in Essex County, NJ to the late Walter Ernest Klaas, Sr., and Katherine "Kay" Steele Klaas. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Joanie O'Brien Klaas.

Funeral services will be private.
