After a long, full life, Vivian Bricker McDonough, of Cornelius, NC passed away at home on September 4, 2013 with her family by her side. Vivian was born on July 29, 1915 to the late Harold and Helen (nee Flood) Bricker. A native of Yonkers and long-time resident, she moved to North Carolina in her later years to live with family. Prior to her retirement, she was a Bookkeeper at Otis Elevator in Yonkers for 27 years. A devout Catholic, Vivian was a long time parishioner at St. John the Baptist. She enjoyed reading and knitting, but most of all spending time with her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband, James and son, Harold; as well as, her brothers Edward, Raymond, and Gerard Bricker; sisters Catherine Kolkmann and Josephine Clarkson. Vivian is survived by her brother Albert Bricker, sister Dorothy Cullen, daughter-in-law Donna McDonough, grandchildren Kevin & Christina McDonough of Glen Allen, VA, Timothy & Sandy McDonough of Cornelius, NC, Kathleen McKeever of Cornelius, NC, Daniel & Regina McDonough of Sterling, VA, and Patrick McDonough of Columbia, MD. She is additionally survived by 16 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be held September 17th at St. John the Baptist Church, Yonkers, NY At 10:45 AM. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Yonkers, NY. The family will present September 16th from 6-9 PM at F.
