Virginia Morgan

Virginia M. Morgan, 104, of Huntersville and formerly of Amagansett, NY, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2014, at the Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville. She was born in Amagansett, NY, on December 26, 1909, and moved from Amagansett to Huntersville at the age of 91 to be closer to family. Virginia is survived by her daughter, Ginger Whorf, and son-in-law, Allison, of Rockville, MD; her daughter, Pamela D'Oria, of Huntersville, NC; and five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, all of whom adored her for her spunk, humor, and sweet tooth. Virginia's family wishes to thank the loving and caring staff of Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center and the Levine & Dickson Hospice House for phenomenal care that ensured that her passing was comfortable and pain-free.
