Vera May Ozbun Turk, 99, of Huntersville, NC passed away peacefully on November 12, 2015. Vera was born August 18, 1916 in Glencoe, OK to the late Fredreick and Lillian Biggs Ozbun. She grew up in Arkansas City, KS, the oldest of three girls. Vera spent 71 years with her loving and devoted husband Paul P. Turk. Vera said she was looking forward to one more move: when she would be with Paul again in the wonderful Kingdom of God. She was a member of Davidson United Methodist Church. She had a strong work ethic and enjoyed working in numerous jobs until she retired as a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, music and embroidering. Vera leaves to cherish her memory, her loving family; daughter Ann Turk Greeson of Huntersville, NC; granddaughters, Suzy Moyd (John) of Hartsville, SC, Julie Jost (Charles) of Cornelius, NC, Kathy Westbrook (Allen) of Huntersville, NC; great-grandchildren, Caitlyn, Holly and Jacob Moyd, Collins Jost, Lauren and Matthew Westbrook.
