Velma Ida Amiss

Velma Ida Curnow Amiss, 90, of Matthews, NC passed away Sunday April 14, 2013. Velma was born November 8, 1922 in Spearfish, SD to the late Thomas and Anna Johnston Curnow. Velma was married to Buddy Amiss for 46 years. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister Betty Rollins, and brother Matt Curnow. Velma leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Judy Hogue and Marsha Hague both of Huntersville, NC, grandchildren, Geoffrey Nehren of Holland ,OH, Shaune Rogers of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Merry Fennesy of Tuscan, AZ. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home and Cremation Services is assisting the family.
