Vanessa Johnson Worth, 40, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away March 28, 2011, after a courageous fight with breast cancer surrounded by family and friends. She was born June 15, 1970 in Roanoke, Virginia. She was married to Richard Scott Worth. She graduated from Cave Spring High School, Roanoke, Virginia in 1988 and graduated from Radford University in 1992. After several years in retail management, she found her dream job as a recruiter for Hunter Group International. Unfortunately, due to her medical condition, she had to take early retirement from her career. She is survived by her husband, Richard Scott Worth; her mother, Joyce Wilkins; her other mother, Robyn Johnson; her sister, Monica Nakagawa; brother-in-law Patrick Nakagawa; niece Ripley Nakagawa and nephew Grayson Nakagawa; and the sister of her heart, Michele Robertson Sloop. Mrs. Worth was preceded in death by her father, Alfred Johnson. The service will be held Saturday, April 2, between 5 and 7pm at Raymer Funeral Home in Huntersville, North Carolina.
