Thomas Allen Schoonmaker
October 28, 1942 — April 30, 2017
He is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Lloyd and mother, Elizabeth Smythe.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Schoonmaker; son, Scott Shoonmaker; daughter and husband, Shauna and Brett Hart; four grandchildren, Shelby, Spencer, Josh, and Brianna; brother, Richard Schoonmaker; two sisters; Pamela Bishop and Dee Dee Lamm.
Thomas was born in Miami, FL, he loved his family, church, golfing, and fishing. He loved coaching baseball and football, but most of all, loved coaching about life!
The family will receive friends from 10-11am on Friday, May 5, 2017 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, Huntersville, NC.
A memorial service will be held at Rayer-Kepner Funeral Home, Cornelius, NC at 11:00 am on Friday, May 5, 2017.
