Thomas Mitchell Petro

Thomas M. Petro of Huntersville, NC passed away on September 3, 2021.

Tom was born in Peckville PA on July 17, 1925 to the late Michael and Catherine Petro.

Tom was a US Coast Guard veteran having served in WWII.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his sisters, Dorothy Terry and Betty Woodrow, and brothers Donald and Peter.

He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Balbina “Beanie”, sister Catherine Licata, son Mark (Marilyn), daughter Susan Leet (Matthew), granddaughter Emily McPherson (Todd), grandsons Daniel and Alexander Leet, and great-granddaughter Reese McPherson. Also Gloria, Donald and Ashley Reisinger who have always been there for him.

Tom & Beanie spent almost their entire lives in Schenectady, NY moving to Huntersville, NC after retirement. Most of his career he was in the retail automotive business in various managerial positions.
