Thomas Allen Gisinger

Mr. Thomas Allen Gisinger, 84, of Cornelius NC died Thursday December 22, 2011 at Levine Dickson Hospice House. Born August 28, 1927 in Ohio he was the son of the late John Wallace Gisinger and Anna Gish Gisinger. Mr. Gisinger served in the US Navy, was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church and retired from a long career in sales. He cherished his family, their annual beach vacations, enjoyed spending time with friends, bowling, golfing and playing tennis. He was a true gentleman who was always available to lend a helping hand. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Tuesday December 27 in the Chapel of Raymer- Kepner Funeral Home with Rev. David Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home. He leaves to cherish his beloved wife of 63 years, Patricia Ann Moser Gisinger; sons, Jeff Gisinger and wife Christy of Charlotte and Greg Gisinger of Rockford NC ; daughter LeighAnn Lynch and husband Bob of Angier, NC; sister, Wanda Washburn of Charlotte; grandchildren, Rob, Chris, Aaron, Ashleigh and Logan and great grandchildren, Page, Jessica, Jesse, Elisabeth and Dakota. The family extends to the doctors and staff of Lakeside Family Physicians and Levine Dickson Hospice House a heartfelt gratitude for their kindness and outstanding care.
