Thomas P. Dowd

Thomas Patrick Dowd, 81, of Davidson, NC passed away March 9, 2015. Thomas was born July 29, 1933 in Bronx, NY to the late Bartholomew and Hanora Coffey Dowd. Thomas was a patent Attorney and a member of St. Mark Catholic Church. He leaves to cherish his memory; wife, Vicky Gilchrist Dowd of Huntersville, NC; sons, Thomas Dowd of Huntersville, NC, Richard Dowd and his wife Margaret of Bethpage, NY; daughters, Virginia Delaney and husband Tim, of Davidson, NC, Marguerite Dowd of Huntersville, NC; grandchildren, Brendon, Shannon, Kaylee, Bridget, Matthew, Brian and Noah. A funeral mass will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, March 13, 2015 at St. Mark Catholic Church, Huntersville, NC. The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:00 at the church. An additional funeral mass will be conducted on Monday June 29, 2015 at 10:45 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bronxville and burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Yonkers.
