Thomas Aubin

July 4, 1937 — January 30, 2020

Thomas Joseph Aubin, 82, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House. He was born in Fall River, Massachusetts on July 4, 1937 to the late Omer and Martha Aubin.

Along with his parents, Thomas is preceded in death by his sister, Joanne Lawrence and brother, Warren Aubin.

He is survived by his wife, Consuela Aubin; son, Henry T Kauhane (Jacqueline); son, Keith W.T. Kauhane (Brianna); son, Ryan Thomas Kamakea Abuin; granddaughter, Ke’Alani Kauhane; brother, Ronald Aubin; sister, Roseanne Wallace; and several nieces and nephews.

Thomas enjoyed sailing, fishing, and building in general.

Thomas was a Captain in the Rhode Island National Guard from 1955 until becoming a full time active duty officer in the US Army in 1967 when he was sent to Vietnam to serve as Combat Engineer. Thomas served two tours Vietnam, where he was awarded two bronze stars. Throughout his military career, Thomas also received three Army Commendation medals and a Meritorious Service Medal.
