Terry Skonieczny

Terry Lynn Skonieczny, 62, of Huntersville, passed away Sunday, March 16th, 2025, at her home with her family at her side. Terry was born March 5th, 1963, in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to Dorothy Klaczko and her late husband Richard Klaczko. She was a sister to Jerry Klaczko, Barbara Evans, the late Denny Klaczko, and the late Carolyn Berg.

Terry had just celebrated her 44th year of marriage to her husband, Stephen Gerard Skonieczny, on March 7th. Together, they had four children: Stephen Gerard Skonieczny Jr., Michael Ryan Skonieczny, Alex Tyler Skonieczny, and Ashley Nicole (Skonieczny) Barnhardt. Though her children were her pride and joys, she LIVED to be a Mimi to her wonderful grandchildren Brody, Braden, Jackson, Aubrey, and Hudson.

Terry was an owner of Tip Top Restoration, but those who knew her knew her real passion was always her family. Terry lived her life for others, and always made sure you felt seen and heard. She always went above and beyond. Terry was incredibly thoughtful and was a light in the darkness to everyone she met. To her family, she was the foundation of the house, the glue that held it all together, and the rock that everyone could rely on. Her strength and love will be dearly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Terry’s honor on Saturday, April 12th, 2025, 11:30 AM, at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home of Huntersville. Additional details will be available at a later date.
