Teofila Segura

Teofilo Segura, 70, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away on July 3, 2018.

Teofilo was born in Mocoa, Colombia, South America on March 27, 1948 to the late Maria Luisa Vargas and Lorenzo Segura.

Teofilo moved to the United States approximately 40 years ago. He was a hard-working man who loved his family. In his free time, he enjoyed watching sports, especially soccer and rooting for his Colombian team. He also had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh.

Along with his parents, Teofilo is preceded in death by his brother, Placido Segura.

He is survived by his spouse, Teresa; his two daughters, Magdalena (Sofi) and Anita; his three grandchildren, Ophelia, Andres, and Laura; his siblings, Maria, Luis, Cledy, Taby, Samuel, Publio, Oscar and Myriam; and many loving nephews, nieces, brothers and sisters-in-laws.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, July 6, 2018 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, Huntersville, NC.

The family will have a visitation from 10:00 – 12:00pm prior to the service.
