Teddy Hobbs

Teddy "Ted" Eugene Hobbs Sr., 86, of Fletcher, North Carolina passed away October 11th, 2018 at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham, North Carolina.
Ted was born March 24th, 1932 to the late Alice Elizabeth Spencer Hobbs and Tommie Lawson Hobbs. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Anne Goodrum Hobbs.
Surviving are his wife, Kelli Hobbs; daughters, Mary Alice Moorefield, Susan Anne Bill and husband Richard, and Carey Mills Storm; sons, Tommie Lawson Hobbs II and wife Teresa, and Teddy Eugene Hobbs, Jr.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Ted was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and a 32nd Degree Mason.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 13th, 2018 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery in Cornelius.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ted's memory to the Masonic Home for Children, 600 College St., Oxford, NC 27565.
