Tamara Yvonne Knox

Tamara Yvonne Bailey Knox, 72 of Harmony, NC passed away Friday, November 30, 2012 at Iredell Memorial Hospital, Statesville. She was born on June 25, 1940 to the late Willis and Evelyn Johnson Bailey. She was a 1958 graduate of North Mecklenburg High School and retired as co-owner of Midway Lake Precision Wood Works and was currently co-owner of Quail Haven Hunting Preserve. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Lloyd D. Knox; sister, Vivian Bailey Brown; and brother, Coy Bailey. Tamara leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Lloyd; children, Willis "Tip" Knox of Mooresville, Tana Knox Nations of Shelby, NC; sister, Karen Wiggins of Mooresville, NC; 7 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am. on Monday, December 3, 2012 at Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Cornelius. Burial will follow the graveside service.
