Sylvia Renner Wright

Sylvia Renner Wright of Charlotte, NC, passed away peacefully on July 3rd, 2022. Sylvia, known by family and friends as “Mama Syl, was an amazing mother and grandmother. She is survived by her two daughters, Sarah Wright Madison and Kristen Wright Tinsman, and 2 son in laws, Bill Tinsman and Dave Madison. Sylvia was so happy to have a grandson, Russell William Tinsman “Rusty” and loved all so very much.

Sylvia was born on December 26th, 1946 in Mandan, North Dakota and attended to Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. After college, she became a flight attendant for TWA for several years. Sylvia married Thomas P. Wright and lived in Hershey, PA for many years. She chose to be a stay at home mom for her daughters.

She enjoyed being with her family, crafting, birds, and loved to shop. Sylvia was an amazing accomplished cook and was always there for all who needed her. She was a dear friend to all. Sylvia cared for many pets throughout her life and she loved all animals.

We are grateful that she is at peace after her long battle with Parkinson’s Disease and know that she has been reunited with loved ones. We will miss seeing her everyday, but we know that she is in a better place and will be with her in the future. We love you.
