Sylvan Glenn Wagner

Sylvan Glenn Wagner, 87, of Charlotte, NC passed away peacefully at Five Oaks Manor in Concord, NC  Slyvan was born April 10, 1929 in Huntington, WV to the late Edward and Martha Overbay Wagner.  He was a sales account manager for AT&T.   Sylvan was an avid golfer and was a member of The County Club of Hilton Head along with Highland Creek Country Club.  He enjoyed traveling, playing cards with his friends, and he was so proud of his landscaping. He also loved golf and was very proud of achieving numerous holes-in-one.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia "Trish" Wagner; brothers, Larry and Joseph; and sister, Betty Thomas.  Sylvan is survived by; son, Tim Wagner (Peggy) of Valley Center, Kansas; daughters, Martie Keller (Dave) of West Liberty, WV, Cheryl Yost (Brian) of Lodi, OH, Lorie Emery of Hanahan, SC; nine grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; three nieces; two nephews and many beloved friends whom he cherished.  

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, 16901 Old Statesville Rd., Huntersville NC.
