Steven Shannon

Steven Dale Shannon, 65, of Stanley, NC passed away on January 16, 2016.  He was born in La Plata, Maryland on February 24, 1950 to the late William Emory Shannon and Bessie (Scott) Shannon.

Along with his parents, Steven is preceded in death by his brother.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Shannon; son, Brian Shannon; sister, Mildred Taylor and her husband Kenneth.

Steven was a car enthusiast and an avid outdoorsman, where he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and going boating. He also shared a great love for his dogs Bentley and Bailey.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 in the chapel at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 3:00 pm until the time of service.
