Steve Mroz

Steve Mroz, 91, of Charlotte, NC passed away peacefully on December 17, 2015.  He was born October 30, 1924 in Chicago, IL to the late Peter and Emilia Mrozowski.  Steve was a WWII, US Navy Veteran who served on the USS Fletcher.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Helen Mroz, and seven siblings.

Steve leaves to cherish his memory: sons, Gary (Lynn), Glen (Stefania), Gregory (Marci), Gordon (Mary); grandchildren, Marcus (Heather), Lucas (Sarah), Alissa, Stacy, Jessica, Becca, Alexandra, Katrina; great-grandchildren, Wren, Z, Fox, Zachary and Brenna.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 21, 2015 at 12:00 noon, in the chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, 16901 Old Statesville Road, Huntersville, NC.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.  Private interment will follow at Crown Memorial Park.
