Stephen Romeo

August 18, 1945 — October 27, 2018

Stephen A. Romeo, 73, of Cornelius, NC passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018 in Huntersville, NC. He was born in Berwick, PA where he graduated from Berwick High School in 1963. Stephen graduated from the College of Engineering at Villanova University in 1967. He remained a proud Wildcat his entire life. Active in charitable organizations since college, Stephen was honored to serve as the Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus in Huntersville, NC until the time of his death.

Stephen is survived by his wife of 51 years, Elizabeth; his son Major Stephen J. Romeo; daughter-in-law Lenka Romeo; grandsons Marcus and Maximus Romeo; and daughter Dr. Alicia Romeo.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2018 from 7:00PM to 9:00PM at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home located at 16901 Old Statesville Rd, Huntersville, NC 28078. Funeral services will be held at St. Mark's Church in Huntersville, NC on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 11:00AM. Stephen will be interred at Pine Grove Cemetery in Berwick, PA at a later date.
