Stanton Theodore Nixon

Stanton Theodore Nixon, 68, of Charlotte, NC passed away October 11, 2017.  Stanton was born in Peoria, IL to the late Curtis and Mary Swast Nixon.  He was an employee of Caterpillar, Inc for 32 years, both here in the U.S. and in Canada. 

Stanton is survived by his loving family; wife, Patricia Fleming Nixon; children, Michelle Nixon Jones (Edward), Angela Nixon Claris (Robert), and Geoffrey Nixon (Kelly); grandchildren, Kaitlyn Jones, Courtney Jones, Crosby Claris and Adalynn Nixon; brothers, Gary Nixon and Richard Nixon both of Peoria, IL. 

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home Chapel, 16901 Old Statesville Rd., Huntersville, NC.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Charlotte, 2700 Toomey Ave., Charlotte, NC  28203.  Friends may offer condolences to the family at www.raymerfh.com.
