Somdy Manivong,72, of Charlotte, NC passed away Thursday September 18, 2014 at Novant Heatlth in Huntersville. Somdy was born February 28, 1942 in Luangprabang Laos, to Thit Thongsouk and Khammy Manivong. Along with his mother, Somdy is survived by his wife, Bounthom Thidavanh Manivong, five children, eight grandchildren, four brothers and three sisters. A funeral visitation will be held on Sunday September 21, 2014 from 1-5 p.m. at the Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home in Huntersville. Friends may offer condolences to the family at www.raymerfh.com.
