Shirley Lee Butler

Shirley Lee Butler, 78 of Huntersville, NC passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Presbyterian Hospital, Huntersville. She was born on October 22, 1934 in Lancaster, PA to the late William and Frances Schlegel Lee. Shirley had a special place in her heart for taking care of others. She also enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She always gave her love freely. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by brother, Eddie Lee Hagelgans. Shirley leaves to cherish her memory her children, David Butler and his wife, Debbie of Huntersville, Billie Hager of Belmont, Wayne Butler and his wife, Debby of Harrisburg, and Dodie Walker and significant other, Troy Robertson of Huntersville; sister, Judy Chewning and her husband, Al; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 in the Chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.
