Scott David Pearson

Scott David Pearson, a resident of Huntersville, NC, was born November 14, 1963 in San Diego, CA to the late Robert Pearson and Shirley Pearson.  Scott went to meet his Lord and Savior on October 6, 2021.  He is survived by his wife Joan, his son Jacob, and his mother Shirley, all of Huntersville, NC, sisters Roberta Pearson McFadden of Carmel, IN and sister Nanette Lindner of Rochester, MI, nieces Ashley Mahoney, of Tipton, IN, Elizabeth McFadden, Carmel, IN and nephew Matthew Lindner of Rochester, MI his stepsons Brandon Moore (Kira) of San Francisco, CA and Jarrod Moore (Lori) of Charlotte, NC.

Scott was a graduate of Carmel High School in Carmel, Indiana. He graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Strayer University, Glen Allen, VA with a Masters of Business Administration with Honors.

His most recent employment was with Seda International North America as National Account Manager in Industry and Consumer Products.  Scott's prior employment was with Dart Container/Solo Cup as National Account Manager of Consumer Products.  He had a passion for his work and was well respected industry-wide for his creative problem solving.  

Family was the center of Scott's life.  He was a good provider and protector of his loved ones, devoted to his son, Jacob, and involved in his athletics.  He also encouraged him in his education endeavors and interest in theater.  His wife, Joan joined him in his love for motorcycles and high performance cars.  They enjoyed trips to the mountains for hiking and taking in the vistas.

Scott was very active in his church over the years and was committed to helping others through Celebrate Recovery.  He loved greeting people at the door and ushering them to their seats.  He even had his young son become a junior usher.

A memorial service celebrating Scott's life will be held at New Song Church 10308 Bailey Road Unit 415, Cornelius, NC 28031 on Tuesday October 26, 2021 at 4:00 PM.
