Sarah Ann Tupper died peacefully May 19, 2014 at Avante Nursing Home in Concord, NC with family by her side. She was born in Dover, NJ on February 25, 1947 the daughter of the late Edward Keible Sr. and Anna Wardell. She was a graduate of Morris Hills High School Class of 1965. She received her BA from Framingham State College. She was married on February 25, 1967 to Burr Marshall Tupper. They spent 35 years together lovingly raising their three children. She worked for many years at the Concord Cooperative Bank and served as Vice President. She lived in Framingham, Ashland, and Harvard, MA. She spent her last years in New England in New Boston, NH, before moving on to Palo Alto, CA, where she lived with her dog, Annie. She moved to North Carolina to be closer to family and her last years were spent in the loving care of The Laurels and Avante Nursing Home in Concord. She was very creative and expressed that in her love of cooking, quilting, sewing, needlepoint, and knitting. She was a very giving person and spent time with recovering alcoholics and addicts. She also gave her time to Meals on Wheels. Sarah had personal struggles her entire adult life and chose to take them straight on. She showed great strength and courage in her final years as she was faced with terminal illness. She is survived by her brother Edward Keible and his wife Terry; brother William Keible and his wife Lynn, their children William and Elizabeth; son Burr William Tupper; daughter Heather Lynn Heiser and her husband James, grandchildren Jakob and Nikolaus; son Nathaniel Hunter Tupper and his wife Jennifer, grandchildren Charlotte, Virginia, and Jocelyn.
