Sarah Frances Todd Burris

Sarah Frances Todd Burris, 92, of Mooresville, NC passed away peacefully on September 14, 2017. Sarah was born February 8, 1925 in Charlotte to the late Elmer and Lucille Auten Todd. She was retired as a comptroller from Davidson College.

Sarah was a member of Coddle Creek ARP Church in Mooresville, and she enjoyed traveling, camping and spending time with her family.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Carl Jack Burris.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her four sons; Arnold Burris (Jane) of Montgomery, AL, Todd Burris of Concord, NC, Ray Burris (Elaine) of Concord, NC, Baxter Burris (Alicia) of Mooresville, NC; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

The family will be receiving friends at 6:30 pm on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at the Coddle Creek ARP Church, Fellowship Hall, 2297 Coddle Creek Hwy 3, Mooresville, NC.

Memorial contributions may be made to Coddle Creek ARP Church Mission Fund.
