Sandra Kay Peña

Sandra Kay Grubb Peña, 62, of Concord, NC passed away on November 27, 2019. She was born in Oak Hill, WV on November 30, 1956 to the late James and Gladys Grubb. 

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, June. 

Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Benjamin Peña, Jr.; son, Christopher Peña and his wife, Jennifer; step-son, Robert Peña and his wife, Amber sister, Midge Sears; sister, Debbie Crouch; brothers, Douglas Grubb and Lee Grubb; and step-grandchildren, Danica and Davien.

She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and her grand dogs, Beau and Molly.

Sandra served in the US Army for 8 years. She was enjoyed doing flower arrangements, loved being around kids, and was very proud of her two sons and all of their accomplishments.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home in Huntersville, NC. 

The family will receive friends for a visitation prior to the service from 9:30 - 11:00 am.
