Sabina Silvia Carolan

Sabina Silvia Carolan, born Sabina Silvia Sobie on October 12, 1933, in Roselle, NJ, peacefully passed away on February 28, 2024, in Cary, NC. She was known for her love of family, going on cruises, eating out with friends, spending time at the beach, and playing cards - especially enjoying a game of canasta.

Sabina's family, grandchildren and great grandson were her absolute pride and joy; their happiness was always her top priority. The long-lasting friendships that she built with her friends in the Falcon Ridge Community in Charlotte, NC meant the world to her.

She joins her beloved husband Ronald Carolan Sr., father Maryan Sobie, mother Sabina Gerke Sobie, sister Jean Sobie, brother George Sobie, sister-in-law Dorothy Hoffman, brother-in-law Raymond Hoffman, brother-in-law Leonard A. Carolan and Nephew Leonard J. Carolan in eternal peace.

She is survived by her loving daughter Nancy (Tom) Ryan and son Ronald (Kira) Carolan Jr. Sabina will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Kevin (Lindsay) Ryan, Connor (Jess) Ryan, Kyle Carolan, Nicole Carolan, great-grandson McCoy Ryan, sister-in-law Terry Carolan, nieces Diane (Joe) Mastro, Patricia (Bob) Malespina, Colleen (Bill) Knight and several grand pets.

A memorial service to celebrate the beautiful life of Sabina Silvia Carolan will take place on March 10th at Raymer - Kepner (Huntersville) in Huntersville, NC. The service will begin at 1:00 PM to honor and remember a woman who brought so much love and warmth to all those around her.

Sabina's kindness and loving nature touched the lives of many. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and cherished her. May she rest in peace.
