Ruth A Prate

Ruth A Prate, 90, passed away on February 24, 2019 at Novant-Huntersville. She was born on January 5, 1929 in Queens, NY to late Frederick and Helen Weiler.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Milton Prate; a daughter, and a sister.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah (John) Panuccio of NY; sons Thomas (Lisa) Prate and Robert (Blanca) Prate of NY; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to local kidney dialysis centers.

A service will be held Saturday, March 2, 2019 in New York at Brueggmann Funeral Home in Northpoint, NY. Internment will follow the service at Pinelawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
