Ruth Batten Beasley

Mrs. Ruth Batten Beasley, 79, of Charlotte died Thursday February 9, 2012 at her residence. Born November 25, 1932 in Selma, NC she was a daughter of the late Fleetwood Batten and Alice Wilson Batten. She was a homemaker and foster parent. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday February 11 at Eastway Drive Church of God with Rev. Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Northlake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the church. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Willie H. Beasley; sons, Craig Beasley, Ted (Denise) Beasley; daughters, Vickie Jones, Joan (Frankie) Vaughn, Rebecca (David) Phillips all of Charlotte; grandchildren, Kim (Michael), Brent (Jennifer), Brandon (Lauren), Tori, Alan, Faith; great granddaughter, Mya and one sister.
