Ruby Warren Cole

Ruby Warren Cole, 93, of Mooresville, NC passed away October 11, 2016 at The Gordon Hospice House in Statesville. Born in Charlotte, June 21, 1923, she was the daughter of the late C.E. and Sethelle Warren. Mrs. Cole was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved her family dearly. She was a long time member of Gateway Baptist Church. She loved to sing in the choir, read, knit and grow African Violet flowers.

Ruby is survived by her son, Charles Strong, Jr. and wife Marleen; 3 daughters, DeAnne Malcolm (Hazel), Bonnie Foy (Rev Hugh), Pamela Jean Saenz; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister and former husband, Charles O. Strong.

A memorial service will be held Sunday October 16, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Gateway Baptist Church, 6321 Robinson Church Rd., Charlotte, NC 28215. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
