Roy Greene

Roy Douglas “Doug” Greene born January 28th, 1964 to the late Roy E. Greene and Faye Johnson Greene graduated from North Mecklenburg High School in 1982. Doug was a licensed Auctioneer from 1984-2004.  He was employed by Electric Cities of N.C. and the Towns of Cornelius and Huntersville. His Hobbies Included Dirt Track racing, riding his motorcycle with friends, and just hanging out at the legion with the guys.

He was a charter member of S.A.L. Post 321 in Huntersville, N.C. and a former member of Huntersville Volunteer Fire Department. He was a current member of the Boone Moose Lodge.

Doug is preceded in death by Brother Kenneth Greene, both parents Roy and Faye Green and both sets of grandparents. He is survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and his buddy “Sam” - his dog and his great friend.

Doug knew from experience to live every day like it was your last, because there is no promise for tomorrow.

Friends are invited to attend Graveside services on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 11am at Northlake Memorial Gardens in Huntersville.

Friends are then invited to attend a celebration of life at the American Legion on Maxwell and Main St. in Huntersville where lunch will be served.
