Ronald Michael Huchko, age 80, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2022, in Charlotte, NC.

Ronald was born on December 24, 1941 in Bridgeport, CT, to Michael and Mary Huchko.

He proudly enrolled in the United States Air Force at age 17 where he was honored to serve the country he loved for 6 years, including service during the Vietnam War. Ronald was a true patriot all of his life and would fondly share his experiences and the bonds he made with his fellow soldiers during that time. His delivery in sharing those stories were always interesting, engaging and meaningful. Following his military service he returned to Bridgeport, CT and began a long standing career in the life insurance industry as an agent. His commitment to serving people and building trust carried over easily into this career as he achieved multiple years as a top producing agent and received ample accolades from clients on his relationship building, knowledge level and authentic compassion.

Ronald was equally proud of his wife of over twenty years, Herta Page-Huchko and all of his children. They will fondly remember his admiration and care to any and all animals he came across, the pristine nature that carried over from the military in how he appeared as well as took care of their home and for being the most gracious host to anyone that stepped foot inside their door. He was also a joy to sing and dance with to any song from what he called the oldies.

To honor Ronald's request there will not be a memorial service however if desired memorial donations may be made in his name to organizations that were near to his heart. Those are the ASPCA (or any local animal shelter), St. Jude and the Special Olympics.

On behalf of his family, we sincerely appreciate the outpouring of love, support and sympathies during this time.
