Ronald Leonard Carolan

Ronald Leonard Carolan, , 85, of Charlotte, NC passed away peacefully on May 27, 2017 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House. Ronald was born May 1, 1932 in Newark, NJ to the late Leonard and Dorothy Howley Carolan. Ronald was an avid reader and enjoyed football, basketball and baseball. He was a devoted husband to Sabina Sobie Carolan for 60 years and loving father to his daughter; Nancy Ryan and her husband Tom of Davidson, NC; son, Ronald Carolan, Jr. and his wife Kira of New Providence, NJ; grandfather to Kevin Ryan, Connor Ryan, Kyle Carolan and Nicole Carolan; sister, Dorothy Hoffman; sister in law, Theresa Carolan; and several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Leonard Carolan; brothers in law, Raymond Hoffman and George Sobie; and sister in law, Jean Sobie.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home followed by a memorial service at 3:00 pm.
