Roberta Susan Rogers-Bodemer, a cherished piano teacher known for her passion and dedication, has sadly left us on April 7, 2024. She was born on November 1, 1942, in the Bronx, NY. Throughout her life, Roberta's love for music shone brightly as she imparted her knowledge to countless students, enriching their lives with the gift of playing the piano.
Roberta's impact extended far beyond the keys of a piano; she touched the hearts of those around her with her kindness and genuine nature. Her services to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024, beginning at 6:00 PM and concluding at 8:00 PM at Raymer - Kepner in Huntersville, NC.
Aside from her professional endeavors, Roberta had a special place in her heart for Mickey Mouse and the enchanting world of Disney. Her annual visits to Disney World for over two decades showcased her unwavering love for joy and magic.
Roberta leaves behind a beautiful legacy and will be deeply missed by her surviving family: her sons Scott, Russ, and Rodd Bogue; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; her loving sister Bonnie Kain; her beautiful nieces, Jennifer and Jessica Kain; and her beloved dog Bella. In their time of mourning, may they find solace in the memories of a remarkable woman who dedicated her life to spreading harmony through music.
The family sends a special thank you to her Huntersville Health and Rehabilitation family for the past 3 years for the love and care you have shown her, especially those closest to her including, Ben, Mary, Hannah, Patrice, Angie, Meggin and her fur babies Poptart, Hotcakes, Fritter, Homefry and Hashbrown. Your love, care, support and humor gave her the quality of life she so deserved.
Roberta Susan Rogers-Bodemer's presence will linger fondly in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know her. May she rest in peace knowing that her melodies will continue to resonate in the lives of all those she touched.
