Robert Joseph Siegworth III

Robert Joseph Siegworth, III, of Charlotte, NC passed away March 30, 2016. Robert was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA where he grew to love playing baseball along with being an avid Steeler fan. He graduated from the PA Institute of Culinary Arts and later started his own business as chef of Mimi’s Kitchen (food truck) in Charlotte. Robert enjoyed golf, disc golf, hunting, bicycling and coaching youth sports. He was preceded in death by his mother Linda Simoni.

             Robert is survived by his loving family; wife, Jennifer Gordon Siegworth; father, Eugene Shaffer, Sr. and his wife Louann Shaffer, of Wexford, PA; sons, Robert Joseph Siegworth, IV, Nicholas Taylor Siegworth, both of Charlotte; daughter, Rachel Elizabeth Siegworth, of Charlotte; sisters, Michelle Christner of Pittsburgh, PA, Johanna Shaffer of Bellvue, PA; brothers, Eugene Shaffer, Jr., of Wexford, PA, Michael Shaffer, of Germantown, PA; several nieces and nephews.

            A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at 7:00 pm in the chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, Huntersville, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
