Robert Clay Sanderson

Robert Clay Sanderson, 31, of Charlotte, NC died Tuesday February 28, 2012 as a result of an auto accident. Born October 9, 1980 in Charlotte, NC he was a son of Gary Phillip Sanderson and Kay Eubank Sanderson of Charlotte. Clay was a graduate of N.C. State University, an avid college sports fan, an analytical chemist for Environmental Technology with Charlotte Mecklenburg Utilities and a member of Mountain Island Church of Christ. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday March 2 at Mountain Island Church of Christ, 4205 Mt. Holly Huntersville Road, Charlotte, NC with Terry Wheeler and Kirk Sams officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery West. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 to 2:00 at the church. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Brandy Cooke Sanderson; daughter, Bradlie Eva Sanderson; parents, Gary and Kay Sanderson; brother, Stephen Gary Sanderson and wife Valerie; nephew and niece, Michael and Aubrey Sanderson, maternal grandmother, Eva Eubank and numerous extended family. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Zenas Eubank and paternal grandparents, Robert and Thelma Sanderson. Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home and Cremation Service is assisting the family.
