We’ve heard that Pride, is a Sin. But if you had the unforgettable pleasure of meeting Bob Rosso, you might think otherwise. Bob had many gifts, but none above, his charisma. One look, from those big brown eyes, made you feel like the only person in the world. His love, partner & wife, Jane (Fuentes) Rosso, would agree. He dances with her now in the ever after. Robert died on November 17, 2022, surrounded by his adoring family, after a brief battle with cancer. He is predeceased in death by his parents George W. Rosso, Sr. and Helen (Toto) Rosso, and his brother Richard Rosso. He is survived by his brother, George W. Rosso, Jr.
He is survived by his children who will feel his loss deeply. Catherine, and her husband David (Terwilliger), his son Jason and his wife Catherine (Curtis) Rosso, his daughter Brenda and her husband Renan (Akcora), and his son Matthew Piercey; his grandchildren, who were prized above all else on earth, David, Preston, Jillian, Bobby (Robert), Maggie (Margaret), Ava, Walker, Ali (Allison), Ella, Aden, and Taner. Always a rebel at heart, he defied his father’s wishes as a young man, and went into, what was then, the new field of I.T., ultimately working for companies such as, Hartz Mountain, Wachovia, Wells Fargo and Siemens Westinghouse then at North Mecklenburg High School. He was a role model to students as a teacher and as a coach of many sports. Over the years, he made many friends that became closer than family. The world is an infinitely better place, because of him.
Friends and family are welcome to share stories during visitation, at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, 16901 Old Statesville Rd., Huntersville on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 5pm to 8pm.
Arrangements to inter Bob with his wife in NJ will be made at a later date.
